Ultrasonic Welding is particularly economical owing to extremely short welding cycles. The weld times range from 0.2 to 1 second, and the subsequent hold time seldom takes longer than 1 second for the joint area to cool and harden.
The time for placing parts, insertion and takeoff is generally longer than the machine cycle - which consists of weld and hold times, and up and down movement of the horn - and therefore determines the number of finished parts.
The use of the semi-automatic rotary table equipment, however, can substantially increase the output rate, which is an important factor in mass production.
The rotary table RT reflects genuine standard philosophy in design and construction, as it takes into account the operating and mounting requirements of the various integrated ultrasonic welders.
Depending on the manufacturing conditions of the customer, the rotary table can be supplied with an electrical table drive and different dials.
