IRAM Laser Welding

Laser welding is the most modern of all plastic joining technologies. Its potential has not been fully exhausted yet.
The process is used for sensitive components, due to the fact that it is vibration – and thus motion – free. No particles are formed, and the weld seams are tight and pleasing to the eye.
Branson‘s IRAM technology for simultaneous welding in industrial series production utilises diode arrays, linked by optical glass fibres, with or without special homogenisation optics (wave guide).
