Ultrasonic Welding - quick, clean, versatile

Ultrasound is a very economic welding technology, suited especially for common consumer products that are mass produced and meant for short product life cycles. The welding time is below a second. The process needs little maintenance and is ecological because no further resources – such as solvents or cements – are required. With ultrasound you can weld, shape, rivet, flange, embed or spot weld.

Standard system with touch screen power supply

Based on the diverse welding applications Branson offers an appropriately complete range of ultrasonic joining systems and components.
Thus the power supplies where designed for the standardised frequency ranges of 20, 30, and 40 kHz with outputs up to 4000 Watt.

They are available in various control system configurations ranging from externally controlled base units up to generators combined with process computers. The latter can control the adjustment of the weld amplitude and force during the welding job - even on-line by modem or the such. With the fully digital power supply it is now possible to digitally regulate the work frequency by software settings as well.

Power supply modules

Various system configurations can take the individual production conditions into account. Thus welding presses with integrated power supply modules or press units with respective power supply lend themselves to equipping single workstations. For instalment into specialised machines 12" power supplies and modularly attached actuators are available that can be easily adapted to the respective production environments.
